U.S. Army Project Salvo Marker issue?

My U.S. Army Project Salvo Paintball Marker makes a LOUD pinging sound each time I fire... I have no problems with the guns operation thus far, I'm just curious if it's normal, or if I did something wrong? I have the Co2 tank hooked directly into the gun... would getting a remote line fix this sound issue?
