Religious Text suggestions :)?

I'd really like some suggestions on books I could read... I was wondering what religious texts people would suggest... I mean I am reading the bible, but I need a break from it... Too much to take in and ponder about... What I really want to read are books from different saints or something... Like the Father at my Parish suggested reading "The Power and The Glory," But I wanted to know the names of texts from different saint's like St. Anselm or St. Augustine or what not... I would greatly appreciate it if someone could suggest something I could read :)
