'Ping' sound in head, pain, temple area?

electric shock type of pain on one side of the head is indicative of trigeminal neuralgia. Google it, the British have a really good support group called the trigeminal neuralgia association. Also the Facial Pain association. I'm not a doctor, but I am a sufferer.
